A CREWE charity is delighted to announce it has been chosen by the Co-op as one of its local causes.

Supported Community Business (Special Needs) has been be selected by Co-op members to receive funding through the Co-op Local Community Fund.

The funding round, which lasts for twelve months, started on Sunday, October 25 and Co-op Members can select SCB as their chosen cause to receive funds.

SCB supports individuals with special needs in its workshop where they not only gain experience of the world of work, but they also provide packaging services for businesses.

The charity's aim is to enable its service users to progress to supported employment and ultimately into a salaried position.

Every time members shop and purchase selected Co-op products and services a donation will be made to their chosen cause, just by scanning their membership card.

If you are not already a member it is quick and easy to sign up via the following link or ask about joining in your local store.

Once you've signed up just select SCB (Special Needs) as your cause and remember to scan your card each time you shop at the Co-op.

Thank you for your support.
