We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our prestigious client who are a global leader in location-based family entertainment

They have a vacancy for a talented Sous Chef who will assist the Head Chef in the keeping one of the countries largest catering establishments running smoothly.

Responsibilities of this Sous Chef role are:

  • Manage and supervise existing team members
  • Help with menu development
  • Help recruit, train and manage kitchen staff
  • Make sure that equipment and mis en places are ready to go before each service
  • Ensure health and safety procedures are strictly followed
  • Oversea organisation of the kitchen daily
  • Help minimise waste therefore maximising profits

For this Sous Chef role you will need:

  • A strong background in the catering industry or experience in a similar role
  • Comfortable conducting training
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • A professional approach to your work
  • Upbeat, positive attitude to work

Details of this Sous Chef role:

Working hours/ days: 7am – 3pm or 3pm – 12pm (5 out of 7 days a week)

Rolling rota for weekends

Location: Alton, Staffordshire

Duration: Permanent

Salary: £35,400
